Case presentation:

This young woman reports she had a slowly growing painful mass in the right ankle, which was excised 8 years ago. Now she has another.

Radiological findings::

There are flocculent calcified lesions anterior and posterior to the ankle joint. MRI shows a granular partially calcified mass.

None requested

Differential Diagnosis:

This lesion is associated with the aankle joint and has recurred after resection 8 years ago.
