1999
Case summaries taken from the monthly Orthopedic Oncology - Radiology - Pathology Multidisciplinary Conference at the University of Massachusetts Medical School
A 17 year old boy presented with a three month history of swelling near his knee, and recent onset of moderate pain. He was otherwise hale and hearty. The plain radiographs, and MRI are shown at right. Bone scan showed significant uptake at the site of the lesion in the fibula, with no other abnormalities. Laboratory exam was unremarkable.
